Domenica is a melodic hard rock band with modern grunge-metal undertones that started in 2004. They are presently based in Los Angeles, California.

The band is a product of hard rock songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Bekki Friesen, who writes and records demos of the group's material at her home studio. 

Following their 1st cross-Canada tour in 2005, the band began recording the songs that would eventually make up their debut release "The Luxury". In between their widely spread studio sessions, Domenica toured Canada and the Midwest/Northeastern United States constantly. In 2008, the band began traveling internationally. They have performed and toured in the USA, Canada, Germany, the UK, Japan, and Australia.

In 2009, "The Luxury" was released in Austria, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, and Switzerland, where it's singles charted at radio and videos were spun on major music television networks. In Japan, the song "What Goes Around" (co-written with Marcos Curiel of P.O.D.) was ranked one of the top 10 hard rock songs of 2009 by Burrn! Magazine's editor in chief. Their songs have been featured in television and film. 

Domenica is currently in the studio working on their 2nd album for release early 2012. It features guest appearances by Dave Ellefson (Megadeth) and Gil Sharone (Puscifer, Dillinger Escape Plan).
